| Bag O'Woad- Noxious Weed Pull |
Every city in Weber County is infested with dyer’s woad. In order to educate the public and help manage populations the Conservation District, in cooperation with Utah State University Extension, invited youth to pull 40 pound bags of the noxious weed in exchange for a $10 bounty. The program had 397 participants who collected 11 tons of the problem weed. |
